Summer Ulpan Classes 5766:

 “Hebrew Conversation Topics”

The Center for Jewish Education of the Jewish Federation of Rockland will be offering special Summer Ulpan Classes during the month of July.  New students are welcome.

Beginning Hebrew I01 with Rachel Kushner

An introduction to Hebrew language including fundamentals of grammar.  The course is designed for the beginning student with little Hebrew background.  Emphasis will be on speaking.

Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10:30 am – noon

8 sessions, from July 5 – July 31.

Hebrew Conversation Topics Beginning/Intermediate 201 with Rachel Kushner

To register for this class, one must have taken at least two years of Hebrew Ulpan, and have basic  skills or permission of instructor.  The class emphasis will be speaking using the topics listed below.

Monday & Wednesday Afternoons from 5:00-6:30 pm.

8 sessions, from July 5 – July 31.

Hebrew Conversation Topics Intermediate/Advanced 301 with Rachel Kushner

This course is for the intermediate/advanced student of Hebrew, fluent speakers with knowledge of Hebrew grammar and verb forms.  The class will emphasize speaking, using the topics listed below.

Monday & Wednesday Evenings from 7:30-9:00 pm.

8 sessions, from July 5 – July 31.

Topics will include: daily conversation, grocery shopping, food and Israeli newspaper.
